Can be done through an application for accreditation to the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority according to the form prepared after reviewing the terms and conditions contained in the (List of Regulation of Domain Names) and (Registrar Accreditation Agreement) and their appendices. The Authority shall examine the application and make a decision.
6. How can I check the availability of a domain name?
You can check the availability by using the [Domain Availability] service.
7. Can I know the current registrants of a certain domain name ending in.عمان or .om?
You can know that by using the verification tool offered by WHOIS.
8. How can I update the domain name’s information?
The owner of the domain name should contact the accredited registrar he or she deals with in order to update the domain name’s information. The accredited registrar should update WHOIS database within (5) five days of receiving the new information.
